A few years ago I ordered Christmas gifts for my kids thru Hearthsong toy catalog. Everything looks so fun and interesting!! However, one of the items didn't work properly so I sent it back. Not hearing from them for a while I decided to call to see if they received my return and when they would credit me for the returned item's cost. They were very cordial and nice about all of it and assured me that they would be crediting my account. After a few weeks, still nothing...i called again....same thing...they would be crediting my account and it just takes several weeks to process thru their system and the banking system.
Well, it's been 2 years and i have yet to see any refund!! From that incident i determined never to shop with them again. So, I decided to order through Magic Cabin...another cute toy company catalog. This time, a large item i had ordered arrived a box that was too small for it!...it was a large ride-on horse, but it looked like it was shoved in so much that it's head and neck were bent...and they were stuck that way. Furthermore, the other item i had ordered arrived in a box way to big for it AND it was the wrong item!!! To top it all off, the boxes had printed on the sides "Hearthsong"!!!!
I was soooooo upset!!!! I packed the items back up and shipped them back...and have i heard anything from them?...a phone call?...an email? NO!!! I still need to get on the phone with them about all this and when i do i'll update my review with probably more nasty stuff to say about these companies who seem to be in ca-hoots with each other!
Bottom line: DO NOT shop with these 2 toy companies
